Inspiring Artist of the Day
Ella Jane Fitzgerald

“Ella Jane Fitzgerald (April 25, 1917 ā€“ June 15, 1996) was an American jazz vocalist with a vocal range spanning three octaves (Dā™3 to Dā™6). Often referred to as the “First Lady of Song” and the “Queen of Jazz,” she was noted for her purity of tone, impeccable diction, phrasing and intonation, and a “horn-like” improvisational ability, particularly in her scat singing.
Fitzgerald was a notable interpreter of the Great American Songbook. Over the course of her 60-year recording career, she sold 40 million copies of her 70-plus albums, won 14 Grammy Awards and was awarded the National Medal of Arts by Ronald Reagan and the Presidential Medal of Freedom by George H. W. Bush.” – Artist Bio Excerpt from Wikipedia

Little Streams:

So happy today. I’ve reached my first 100 hours in this Journey. It took me a whole month 30-days to reach this memorable first Milestone. Still so far ahead, but it’s better to see the distance we have travelled than how far one still have to travel to reach a goal. It’s enough to have a clear vision of the destination, but it is said that the “road” is usually so much more beautiful than the goal itself.

Thank You for Tuning In.. šŸ™‚
