A Journey to 10 Thousand Hours of Practice and Self-Motivation
Practice Time Log
This Time Log is Posted a day after every practice session, but starting next post which is today’s session, I will be posting on the day of the practice session. So later this evening in my Country Time, I will be posting another one “On Date.”
I was not able to do this in the past posts since usually I am already very tired in the evening after practice to make a post; but recently I created an Idea of creating a Draft in the morning then I will just insert the Practice Time Log after practice in the evening.. Why haven’t I thought of that in the past, very slow.. 🙂
I’m somewhat excited today because I’m only a few hours to my first 100 hours of practice.. So 10,000 hours minus 100.. Mmmh.. So far.. Never mind let’s look to the distance we have traveled, not the distance we have to.. 😉
Inspiring Artist of the Day

Franz Joseph Haydn (31 March 1732 – 31 May 1809), known as Joseph Haydn, was one of the most prominent and prolific composers of the Classical period. He was instrumental in the development of chamber music such as the piano trio and his contributions to musical form have earned him the epithets “Father of the Symphony” and “Father of the String Quartet”.
A lifelong resident of Austria, Haydn spent much of his career as a court musician for the wealthy Esterházy family at their remote estate. This isolated him from other composers and trends in music until the later part of his life, when he was, as he put it, “forced to become original”. At the time of his death, aged 77, he was one of the most celebrated composers in Europe.
Joseph Haydn was the brother of Michael Haydn – himself a highly regarded composer – and Johann Evangelist Haydn, a tenor. He was also a friend of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and a teacher of Ludwig van Beethoven.

10 Thousand Miles seems very personal and somewhat a huge undertaking but nothing will happen if I don’t try. My hope always is for this post to motivate me daily and hopefully others can take Ideas and likewise be motivated.
Thank you very much for tuning in..
